In the years 2018\u20132022, the Massad Oz company took part in the restoration, upgrading and improvement of the \u201cOne of Us\u201d pre-military preparatory program complex.<\/p>

The preparatory program trains youth before their recruitment into the IDF, and its graduates enter significant roles in the Israeli military.<\/p>

The Hadassah Neurim Youth Village is an educational institution that includes a boarding school, is managed as an independent non-profit organization, and has been, for seven decades now, a warm home for thousands of teen-aged girls and boys from all over Israel and from around the world.<\/p>

About 600 students are educated in the village, of which 410 are boarding school students who see the village as a safe, loving, and supportive home that advances them in all areas of life. The village is a unique community<\/strong> that provides a comprehensive educational-social-enriching solution and leads to a rich and progressive life experience.<\/p>

In Israel, hundreds of thousands of citizens live below the poverty line. The holiday season is a perfect opportunity to demonstrate our mutual responsibility toward all Israeli citizens and to help the weaker sectors by donating to the needy. For families in need, food packages help pass the holiday season much more happily and calmly. This activity takes place both before Passover and before the Tishrei holidays.<\/p>

The extensive activity of food donations for the needy includes a large food packaging operation. Every year, a large number of business companies take part in a social volunteer activity for the community. The activity takes place both before Passover and before the Tishrei holidays, with 1300 workers sorting and packing holiday products. A few days before the holidays, the boxes reach those in need from all over Israel, delivered by the employees and volunteers of the Latet organization.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Keren Leyedidut association is Israel\u2019s largest social aid organization that provides assistance with fulfilling basic needs for populations living in poverty, runs programs to foster empowerpent and reduce social gaps, and takes part in the efforts to increase government investment in these areas.<\/p>

With an encompassing array of teams spread across the country and a deep professional relationship with welfare authorities, government ministries, and leading social organizations, the Keren Leyedidut works to identify the social areas and populations that suffer from a lack of resources and develops assistance programs for the most sensitive populations in Israeli society.<\/p>

As part of the involvement of the Massad Oz company in the community, Alon Shtauber, CEO of the company, had the opportunity to meet Moran Ativ\u00a0, a graduate of the Ma\u2019agalim organization that helps to advance youth from disadvantaged areas. The project is called \u201cCEO for a Day,\u201d and it allows its graduates to meet various CEOs from the economy and ask them questions about their field of activity. The meeting was held at the Massad Oz offices, during which the company was introduced to Moran and an open conversation was held about everything that Moran wished to know regarding our activity. Moran was very impressed by the company and our work, and this greatly reinforced her decision to study building engineering at Sami Shamoon College of Engineering. After that, Moran went on a tour of the Gissin Office Campus (Olivex) project in Petach Tikva.<\/p>
